Recovery Retreat —
Returning to What’s Real
A retreat for those walking the 12-step path, or simply ready to see and release addictive emotional, mental, and physical patterns. Anchored in the wisdom of AA, woven with the Yoga Sutras and the Wisdom Enneagram.
Who Is This For
Anyone currently in a 12-step program seeking deeper spiritual grounding
Those who long to understand and soften addictive patterns of thought, feeling, or behavior
Practitioners of yoga or meditation who want to integrate recovery wisdom into their path
Therapists, guides, or facilitators who support others in recovery and wish to be nourished themselves
What You’ll Experience
Teachings: Anchored in AA, enriched by Yoga Sutras and Enneagram insights
Practice: Breath, inquiry, and self-observation as living tools
Community: Shared reflection, support, and belonging outside performance or pretense
Nature: Spacious time for rest, rejuvenation, and integration on sacred land surrounded by the Ozarks’ wilderness

Why This Retreat?
For over three decades, I have walked both the yogic and 12-step paths.
I bring the humility of recovery, the depth of contemplative practice, and the wisdom of traditions I’ve been shaped by—AA, Yogic Teachings, the Wisdom Enneagram, and Father Richard Rohr’s Living School.
I love sharing this information and ‘way’ of being. It is about turning toward reality as it is, and finding freedom there.

Recovery is not about
becoming someone else.
It is about remembering
who you already are,
beneath the noise of compulsion and striving.
If you feel the call, come.

The kitchen will prepare daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We use what we grow whenever possible and pay close attention to the season, the time of day, and the work the training consists of. You will be deeply nourished by a consciously created menu that takes into consideration health, sustainability, and beauty.
